Joke Of The Day

A young woman visits her parents and brings her fiancé to meet them. After an elaborate dinner, the mother tells her husband to find out about the young man. The father invites the fiancée to his library for a drink.
“So what are your plans?” The father asks the young man.
“I am a Torah scholar.” He says.
“A Torah scholar, Hmmm,” the father says. “Admirable, but what will you do to provide a nice house for my daughter to live in, as she is accustomed to?”
“I will study,” the young man said, and God will provide for us.”
“And how will you buy her a beautiful engagement ring, such as she deserves?” asks the father.
“I will concentrate on my studies,” the young man replies, “God will provide for us.”
“And children?” asks the father. “How will you support children?”
“Don’t worry, sir, God will provide,” replies the fiancé.
The conversation continues like this, and each time the father questions, the young idealist insist that God will provide.
Later, the mother asks, “How did it go, Honey?”
The father answers, “He has no job and no plans, but the good news is he thinks I’m God.”

Dumbass (Rusty) Of The Day

The Base441 design company in Lansing, Michigan for designing and selling the iPad Steering Wheel Mount. It’s a device that mounts an iPad on your steering wheel so you can use your iPad while you drive. They even made a video to demonstrate the product.

49-year-old Phillip Ingram of Lawrenceville, GA, who showed up at his municipal court intoxication hearing … drunk. A breath analysis test showed his blood alcohol level at nearly twice the legal limit for driving.

Patricia Cuda, a school bus driver for nine years near Macon, GA, who allowed a 13-year old and a 15-year-old student to drive the bus. There were seven students, ages 10 to 15, on the bus at the time.

Today’s FTW
Mark Smith, 59, who entered a bank in Watsonville, CA, and said he had a bomb in his backpack which he would detonate unless he was given $2,000. But, instead, Smith was convinced by the bank manager to take out a loan to solve his cash problem. He was given a seat to wait while she retrieved the loan papers. Instead, the bank manager simply called police. The bank staff kept Smith busy with paperwork until the cops arrived.
