If you missed The Morning Rokit on 94.1 The Rock this morning, you missed……….

Joke Of The Day

A husband in his back yard is trying to fly a kite. He throws the kite up in the air, the wind catches it for a few seconds, then it comes crashing back down to earth. He tries this a few more times with no success.
All the while, his wife is watching from the kitchen window, muttering to herself how men need to be told how to do everything.
She opens the window and yells to her husband, ‘You need a piece of tail.’
The man turns with a confused look on his face and says, ‘Make up your mind. Last night, you told me to go fly a kite.’

—-

Three boys were bragging about their fathers.
The first one said, “My father runs so fast he can fire an arrow, start running, and get there before the arrow!”
The second one said, “That’s nothing! My father can shoot a gun, start running, and get there before the bullet!”
The third boy just smiled. “That’s nothing. My father is a civil servant. He gets off work at 5 and is home before 4!”

 Dumbass Of The Day

A man who didn’t communicate clearly enough that he wanted a honey bun from a local Dunkin’ Donuts in Massachusetts. The clerk thought he said “Give me the money, I have a gun.” The man who has been charged with attempted armed robbery now claims that the cashier misunderstood him. The suspect has been convicted 23 times on other charges, most of which were probably related to mumbling and pronunciation issues.

Lucretia Mazzei, who took her children ages 3 and 5 to a McDonald’s Playland in Clarksburg, WV, to play while she passed out in a drunken stupor. Restaurant employees said they found her passed out twice; first in the bathroom and then on a bench near the outdoor play place where her children were playing. Mazzei has been arrested and charged with child neglect creating risk of injury.

   Today’s FTW
Walker Bruce, 45 who was found asleep in a Connecticut couples house after he mistakenly thought it was a bed and breakfast. Connecticut State Police said a man they believe was on drugs mistook a home for a bed and breakfast, went to sleep in a bedroom and left his credit card on the stairs as payment. Police said Bruce appeared disoriented and is believed to have been under the influence of drugs. Bruce was charged with third-degree burglary and taken to Middlesex Clinic in Essex for examination.

The unidentified person who left the door to the HSBC Bank in Hampshire, England unlocked overnight. Most likely if was an employee because nothing seemed to be missing from the bank. A customer discovered it in the early morning hours and notified police who guarded the door till someone from the bank arrived. They’re still trying to figure out who left it unlocked.

  1. For the record, the McDonald’s ad staring Justin Morneau is not an offer valid at many locations. I think it’s a Minnesota thing since it’s always on in the Twins games…so in other words not in Aberdeen… 😦
