If you missed The Morning Rokit on 94.1 The Rock this morning, you missed……….

Joke Of The Day

A duck walks into a bar and asks, “Got any grapes?”
The bartender, confused, tells the duck no. The duck thanks him and leaves.
The next day, the duck returns and asks, “Got any grapes?”
Again, the bartender tells him, “No — the bar does not serve grapes, has never served grapes and, furthermore, will never serve grapes.” The duck thanks him and leaves.
The next day, the duck returns, but before he can say anything, the bartender yells, “Listen, duck! This is a bar! We do not serve grapes! If you ask for grapes again, I will nail your stupid duck beak to the bar!”
The duck is silent for a moment, and then asks, “Got any nails?”
Confused, the bartender says no.
“Good!” says the duck. “Got any grapes?”
Dumbass Of The Day

Roy Dixon, 45, a novice pilot who had no experience flying the paraglider he bought on eBay, but flew it anyway after reading only half the instruction manual.  He ended up breaking his back in a crash after tethering it to a car and taking to the skies. Dixon, a thrill-seeker admits he was only half way through a book about paragliding when he decided to make his first attempt. He made another disastrous decision, to use 50 feet of rope to tether the paraglider to his car, in hopes it would act as an anchor. Instead, it meant he was slammed into the side of a hill by a stray gust of wind. Roy was in the air for less than a minute before he plummeted 50ft to Earth, breaking his back in two places as his horrified family looked on.

Guy Jones, 60, who burned down his West Virginia home because he was angry at his wife for not having dinner ready. The Sheriff’s Department said Beverly Jones called a 911 emergency operator and reported her husband had set fire to their home. Deputies arrived and Beverly told them she fled to a neighbor’s house after an argument about dinner not being on the table and saw her husband exit the house after flames appeared in the basement. Jones said her husband had been drinking.

Today’s FTW
Carlos Mitchell, 25, who took a photo on his cell phone of himself holding a large amount of cash from robbing the Platinum Bank in Lakeland, Florida.  Detectives said surveillance photos placed him in the bank the day before when he asked to open an account but left because he did not have an ID.  He was located driving his mom’s 2001 gold Chrysler Concorde, a vehicle like the one used in the robbery.  When detectives searched the car and Mitchell’s cell phone, they located photos of Mitchell wearing a brown ski mask matching the same mask that was worn during the robbery, and a photo of Mitchell holding a large amount of cash.

19-year-old Bryan Parslow and three other teenagers who were trying to hold their breath during the time it took to drive through the hamlet of Garbutt, NY. Parslow.  Parslow, who was driving, passed out and crashed the car.
