If you missed The Morning Rokit on 94.1 The Rock this morning, you missed……….

Joke Of The Day

Two guys are walking through the woods and come across a big deep hole.
    “Wow, that looks deep.”
“Sure does! Toss a few pebbles in there and see how deep it is.” They pick up a few pebbles and throw them in and wait, but there is no noise.
“Jeeez. That is really deep. Here, throw one of those great big rocks down there. That should make a noise.”
They pick up a couple of football-sized rocks and toss them into the hole and wait. They wait, and wait, but again hear nothing.
They look at each other in amazement. One gets a determined look on his face and says, “Hey, over here in the weeds, there’s a railroad tie. Help me carry it over here. When we toss that in, it’s got to make some noise!”
The two drag the heavy tie over to the hole and heave it in. Not a sound comes from the hole.
Suddenly, out of the nearby woods, a goat appears, running like the wind. It rushes toward the two men, then right past them, running as fast as its legs will carry it. Suddenly it leaps in the air and into the hole.
The two men are astonished with what they’ve just seen.
Then, out of the woods comes a farmer who spots the men and ambles over. “Hey! You two guys seen my goat out here?”
“You bet we did! Craziest thing I’ve ever seen. It came running like crazy and just jumped into this hole!”
“Nah,” says the farmer, “that couldn’t have been mine. My goat was chained to a railroad tie.”
Dumbass Of The Day

Today’s FTW
A 49-year-old bus driver who claims he forgot that he was in a double-decker bus when he drove under an overpass and lost the roof, sending metal and glass flying. He was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drunk-driving. No passengers were injured.

55-year-old James Lyle Pierson, who attempted to commit suicide by rigging his four-door sedan with propane bottles, gasoline and shotgun shells in an attempt to make the car explode during a crash. But it didn’t go off when he drove off a steep embankment. Pierson survived, then walked eight miles to the closest town, where he called authorities. He was taken to a hospital where he was treated and later released. Police bomb technicians later rendered the vehicle safe.

Chorise Stewart, 38, who loaned his car to a drug dealer from Chicago Heights in exchange for two rocks of crack cocaine. He then called police when the 19-year-old dealer failed to return the 2002 Toyota Corolla at the scheduled time. Stewart told officers he was carjacked by two men with guns. However, police said the story began to unravel when the drug dealer was found with the car later that night.

Paul Noga, 38, a British mail carrier who stole an estimated 76,000 letters and packages and kept them in his apartment. He finally had to abandon his apartment and move in with his mother because he had no room left.
