Joke Of The Day 

A defense attorney was cross-examining a police officer during a felony trial ….. It went like this ….. 

     Q. Officer, did you see my client fleeing the scene?
     A. No sir, but I subsequently observed a person matching the description of the offender running several blocks away.
     Q. Officer, who provided this description?
     A. The officer who responded to the scene.
     Q. A fellow officer provided the description of this so-called offender. Do you trust your fellow officers?
     A. Yes sir, with my life.
     Q. With your life? Let me ask you this then officer – do you have a locker room in the police station – a room where you change your clothes in preparation for your daily duties?
     A. Yes sir, we do.
     Q. And do you have a locker in that room?
     A. Yes sir, I do.
     Q. And do you have a lock on your locker?
     A. Yes sir.
     Q. Now why is it, officer, if you trust your fellow officers with your life, that you find it necessary to lock your locker in a room you share with those same officers?
     A. Well, we share the building with a court complex, and sometimes lawyers have been known to walk through that room. 

Dumbass Of The Day 

Flight attendants for Air Canada who forgot to wake a passenger after a flight. That passenger woke up 90 minutes later in an otherwise empty jet, inside the airplane hangar.  According to the passenger, Kris Lines, a 31-year-old law professor from the UK, he had nodded off during his flight from Calgary to Vancouver and didn’t wake up until after the plane had landed.  A mechanic who had boarded the plane after it had been towed into a hangar woke him.   

    Seven women between the ages of 17 and 24 who started a brawl in the Easter Basket Aisle of a Salsbury, NC Walmart, causing a total of $800 in property damage to the store.  Candy eggs, rabbits and Peeps flew through the air in the Easter weekend rumble. Unable to figure out who initiated the brawl, officers decided to charge all of those involved in the incident.

Tiffany Morland and her 12-year-old nephew who conspired to prank his grandmother on April Fools Day by having him call her up and say his mother had been shot. The grandmother hung up on the boy and dialed 911 before he could shout “April fools.” Police officers with their guns drawn soon filled the home and Morland hurriedly explained the situation.

Bozo Criminal Of The Day  

 

From Medford, Oregon comes the story of two unidentified bozos who attempted to rob someone at knifepoint at a convenience store before losing their nerve and running away. This would probably have been a good plan except for one thing. They had driven their car to the store. Police were on the scene investigating when our bozos returned to pick up their car. Oops. They’re busted!
