FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Sioux Falls, SD – Tuesday, September 15, 2009

CHEVELLE is an American rock trio that formed in 1995 in Grayslake, Illinois. The band originally comprised three brothers: Pete (lead vocals/guitar), Sam (drums/percussion), and Joe Loeffler (bass/backing vocals). Joe left the band in 2005 and was replaced by brother-in-law, Dean Bernardini, soon after.

Chevelle has sold nearly two million albums in the United States. The band’s first full-length, Point #1 album was released on a small record label called Squint Entertainment. Chevelle’s second album, Wonder What’s Next, was certified Platinum by the RIAA after a debut at #14 on the United States albums chart, Billboard 200. This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In), the band’s third album debuted at #8 and has been certified Gold. Chevelle has since released a fourth album, Vena Sera and the band recently finished recording its fifth album, Sci-Fi Crimes, which was released on August 31, 2009.

HALESTORM has been consistently active, writing and performing original music since 1998 (when the band members were ranging in ages from 10 to 13 years old) and becoming increasingly successful. When the band first started, Lizzy and Arejay’s father played the bass until Josh Smith joined the band. They have achieved international airplay, having been featured on the Lord Litter show in Germany. Halestorm has been the featured artist, appearing on the covers of Origivation Magazine (October 2006) and Pennsylvania Musician magazine three times (August 1999, March 2000, and February 2003).

The group signed a recording contract with Atlantic Records on June 28, 2005. They toured nationally across the United States from January to March 2006 on the Winterfresh Sno-Core Tour with Seether, Shinedown, and Flyleaf. Lizzy Hale also lent her vocals to a reworked version of the Shinedown song “Shed Some Light”, from their album Us and Them.

Their debut album was released on April 28, 2009. James Michael co-wrote a song on it called “What Were You Expecting.” The song “I Get Off” serves as the album’s lead single and has gained heavy radio play.

Also performing is, AFTER MIDNIGHT PROJECT.
